EYEBROW AFTER CARE:

DAY 1 & 2: Blot the brows dry with the gauze in your aftercare kit to prevent lymph fluid buildup. Quickly wash the brows twice a day (morning & night) with cold water and soap and pat dry. (cleanser will be provided) DO NOT SOAK BROWS WITH WATER WHEN SHOWERING/WASHING.

STARTING DAY 3: Continue washing the brows twice a day with soap. Apply a very thin layer of ointment from your kit. This will help hydrate the area and prevent it from itching. (for reference, use about half a grain of rice size of ointment on BOTH brows) + the must be avoided list.

As the days continue, the brows will appear darker and it will feel dry and the skin will shed. This is NORMAL. DO NOT PEEL IT! Allow the scabs to flake off naturally. When the shedding stage is complete, the pigment will look like it disappeared. Don’t panic, your skin is still healing. The ink will resurface gradually revealing a more natural shade. You can discontinue the ointment once all the scabs have fallen.

TRUST THE PROCESS. The brows will be fully healed after 30 days and it will reveal a softer color. We can later assess if a touch up is needed. Once healed, apply sunscreen to prolong the color retention.

The following MUST BE AVOIDED during the first 10 days of post procedure:

— Increased sweating. It is recommended not to sweat (heavily) for the first 10 days after the procedure. Sweat is salt and can prematurely fade the treated area.

— Swimming in the ocean.  Hot sauna, hot bath, Jacuzzi, sun tanning or salon tanning.

— No makeup or products on the area.

— Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and or any creams containing, Retin A or Glycolic Acid on the brows.

NO Picking, peeling, or scratching of the area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment. FLAKINESS IS NORMAL.

— Smoking and drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing.

— Do not touch the area except for when light rinsing and applying Aquaphor or extra virgin Coconut Oil.

— Avoid dust or pets from coming in contact with the area.

BODY TATTOO AFTER CARE:

— After the removal of the bandage wash thoroughly with cold water + a mild liquid unscented soap. (Dial gold liquid soap or Equate liquid soap)

— Pat dry with a clean paper towel and air dry for 1 to 2 hours.

— Apply a THIN layer of Aquaphor on clean skin twice a day and lightly pat ointment onto tattoo. Hands must be sterile before application. DO NOT apply a ton of the ointment to avoid clogging the skin.

— THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF HEALING IS KEEPING IT CLEAN AT ALL TIMES, treat it like a cut and keep away from any dirt, debris, pets etc.

— DO NOT scratch or pick at the tattoo. Allow the tattoo to scab and peel on its own.

— Absolutely no sun, swimming, pools, jacuzzis, sweating, or soaking in water until the tattoo has fully healed and peeled off.
